Derby born quintet BURY THE TRAITOR unveil new single and music video

“These metalcore upstarts continue to impress.” – Metal Hammer
” A blistering EP of quality modern metalcore” Powerplay

Derby born quintet BURY THE TRAITOR are pleased to unveil their next single from their recent EP release. ‘When Lust Dethrones Loyalty’ is the second single to be taken from the EP ‘Ascend To Clarity’ that was released back in February.

The music video for the band’s last single release ‘A.S.I.F’ has received almost 60,000 views across all platforms since its release.

Check out the incredible new video, also shot by Loki Films, here below..

When talking about the new single, BURY THE TRAITOR frontman Oli Heaton Loewenbach explained the story behind the single; “‘When Lust Dethrones Loyalty’ is about coming out of a bad relationship and struggling to come to terms with it, then realising that there’s no point dwelling on the past. It’s about gaining a new perspective on things and moving on”.

For fans of As I Lay Dying and Bury Tomorrow, ‘Ascend To Clarity’ has had fantastic reviews across the board, including when the band hit the road earlier this year to tour the new material.

With the British metalcore scene culminating in 2019, BURY THE TRAITOR head in the right direction to rival the likes of some of the greats. For a debut EP ‘Ascend To Clarity’ proves that the band are a force to be reckoned with and new single and accompanying music video for ‘When Lust Dethrones Loyalty’ is yet another reason to put this EP on repeat.

‘Ascend To Clarity’ is out now.
