Festival directors Matt Freemantle and Luke Turpin earned themselves a table at BBC Radio 1’s Academy event, teaching 16-19 year olds how to run a festival and get yourself a job in the music industry.
We were very honoured to be asked to take part in an array of events for BBC Radio 1’s Academy ahead of BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Exeter.
As part of Phonic FM’s BBC Radio 1’s Academy specials, I was asked to anchor a special show which included guests such as Radio 1’s mid morning host Clara Amfo, BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge producer Julie Shepherd and many more.
